75 years of Schiedel – From a chimney manufacturer to an innovative provider of heating- and ventilation systems
(Munich, 23.02.2020) The story of the company Schiedel, originally founded in Erbach near Ulm, is also a story of an impressive entrepreneur with a vision: Over the past 75 years, the former chimney manufacturer has developed into an industry-leading provider.
New fire resistance tests EI 120 for Schiedel ICS
(Munich, 07.12.2020) Schiedel has recently successfully carried out fire resistance tests according to the latest European standard EN 1366-13:2019 “Fire resistance tests for service installations, Part 13: Chimneys” and has reached EI 120 classification for our Double Wall Insulated System Chimney ICS in a closed scenario (type A) for both vertical and horizontal set-ups.
