(Munich, 02.03.2016) Schiedel was awarded the coveted Red Dot Award: Product Design 2016. With the submission of the unique furnace solutions – the new KINGFIRE® models LINEARE and RONDO – Schiedel has demonstrated great design expertise and is one of the best in the industry this year.
41 jury members, consisting of independent designers, design professors and trade journalists, were extremely enthusiastic about the new design of the Schiedel oven solutions. Together with the leading design agency Phoenix Design, a clear and recognizable design was created here. Phoenix Design has held one of the top places in the iF design award ranking for many years and has been awarded more than 700 design prizes to date.
KINGFIRE® is a stove and fireplace in one. The compact and innovative stove modules KINGFIRE LINEARE and RONDO impress with their space-saving firewood inserts with high ease of use and excellent exhaust gas values. When designing, particular attention was paid to the design to meet the user’s experience for fire and warmth in their surrounding.
The big advantage is the space-saving innovation. This stove solution is characterized by the fact that a firewood insert is already fully integrated into the fireplace (FIREPLACE + STOVE = ONE) and therefore no more valuable floor space is required in the living area. The furnace system is already installed in the building shell with the crane and is ready for operation almost immediately.
A few days ago, the Schiedel oven solutions were also awarded the Innovation Award Plus X Award, which honours manufacturers for the quality lead of their most innovative products.
